How much mulch does my property need?
It depends on bed size and depth desired (usually 2–3 inches). We measure the beds during the walkthrough and quote the exact amount, so you're not paying for extra material.
What type of mulch do you use?
We typically install double-shredded hardwood mulch for color retention and weed suppression. If you prefer a different type or color, we can source it.
How often should mulch be refreshed?
Most Newport News properties look best with a refresh once a year, usually in spring. Beds in full sun may need a touch-up sooner as mulch breaks down faster.
Can you fix beds that are already overgrown?
